Graphic Trial Workshop

The assignment of workshop hosted by Toppan Printing Co., Ltd. for the 10th anniversary of the annual event, Graphic Trial, which guests 4 graphic designer each year, and have them design with experimental offset printing technology.

The workshop were opened to young designers, aiming that they could have a guidance from one of most famous graphic designer in Japan, Koich Sato-Sensei as a guest instructor. The assignment of the workshop is to create a graphic with given two inks, mine was red and blue–other choice are black-gray, pink-beige.

Following the instruction, since I had no experience in printing, I tried the two-color separation and the solarization. The final print was astonishingly created because of the delicate work of Toppan Printing.
